Mclaren Clockwork Submarines

This old girl was in a right state when I got her,busted spring, heavy denting and more holes than a Swiss cheese. The only thing was a total tear down and full restoration. I have to say I am seldom misty eyed about things but this boat is stunningly beautiful, outstanding French design and a perfect blend of form and function. She's wound through the side beneath the brass hex plug she's also fitted with a fwd ballast tank which is filled via the second brass screw on the underside. The fin is removable to access the removable motor! what a superb magnifique boat! So hats off to the French with this one its a brilliant piece of kit and I'm lucky to have it.
