Mclaren Clockwork Submarines

This is my interpretation of the brilliant Harper Goff Nautilus. Its 24" long and has two ballast tanks fwd and aft. Its a right old ding dong story of how he met Walt Disney in the Bassett Lowke shop in London and convinced him to use his idea for the 1954 film 20,000 leagues under the sea. I mean what was he thinking? crocodiles,dinosaurs???. Whatever it was, it was genius! I remember first seeing the film when I was a kid,I was spellbound by the amazing design. Mr Goff, I salute you sir!
