17/06/2020.       Mk7.     21"        Tinplate Clockwork Battleship

The Mk7 is a right little chunky monkey, the hull is 0.2mm with a 0.5mm sub frame, the fin keel keeps her straight as a die in the water with a moderate single spring motor providing 7-8 minutes of propulsion. Her guns swivel through 270 degrees and the motor is removable via the removable upper deck superstructure. All studs and nuts are brass and lets face it, if you're going to have nuts they may as well be brass ones. I think she's a cracking little boat, but then again I would say that. The Mk7 is another commission so she's off to foreign parts, well the south of England actually which is foreign to a Manc.
